Hello! My name is Iris, I’m a Flemish Belgian woman whose journey began in the heart of Belgium Congo. Growing up as the daughter of an engineer often working abroad, my life has always been filled with new horizons and the spirit of discovery.
My Journey Across Continents
From an early age, life was an adventure—frequent travels across African countries until the late sixties gave me a deep appreciation for diverse cultures and landscapes. I spent my formative years living in South Africa and Rhodesia. During the early seventies, I had the unique experience of calling Arabian countries like Doha, Abu Dhabi, Qatar, and Bahrain my temporary homes. These moves, shaped by my father’s work, instilled in me resilience and an open mind.
Fueled by a love for languages and fueled by my studies, I was fortunate to live and work all over the world. My travels led me to:
